Wanbaojing Automobile chassis suspension project was put into operation in Han

The Wuhan Wanbaojing Auto Parts Company, with a total investment of US$100 million, was formally put into operation in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The new company, which has two Fortune 500 shareholders, will start production of chassis suspensions for the core components of automobiles, and will inject strong momentum into the city’s industrial multiplication plan.

Wuhan Wanbaojing Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Japan Van Co., Ltd., Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and China Baosteel's Metal Co., Ltd. Nippon Vanco Co., Ltd. is Japan's largest manufacturer of automotive chassis suspension systems. Its components supply the world's leading products. Mitsui & Co., Ltd. is ranked among the world's top 500 companies and is Japan's largest general trading company. Its business scope includes steel, textile, machinery and other fields. Baosteel's metal business involves Follow-up processing and service of steel products.

The chassis suspension is a force transmission device between the body and the axle or wheel. Including the three parts of the elastic element, shock absorber and force transmission device, respectively, buffering, vibration reduction and force transmission. As the first automobile chassis suspension manufacturer in Jiangcheng, Wanbaojing will supply chassis suspension, connecting rods, and other components to Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle, Liyang Nissan, Zhengzhou Nissan and other automobile manufacturers for mass production. With an annual production capacity of about 600,000 pieces, it will achieve an annual output value of about 1 billion yuan and a tax revenue of 50 million yuan.

Previously, Wanbaojing had a factory in Guangzhou. In order to build a second base, it has been estimated that the sales price of parts and components can drop by 3% to 4% from Wuhan transport products to the whole country, and many automobile OEMs are located in East China, making it easier to radiate from East China to Wuhan, and eventually select Wanbaojing.
