Geely Automobile News According to "Detroit News" report, the United States General Motors announced on November 24 that the company will recall 192,000 pickups in the United States, recalling the reasons for the lack of a suitable loading position for pickup child safety seats.

General Motors said that the recall of vehicles involved the 2004-2011 Chevrolet colorado pickups and the GMC Canyon pickups, which were fitted with unsuitable elongated seats to replace the rear seats. In addition, GM will also recall the 2006 Isuzu I-280 and I-350 pickups from General Motors, and the Isuzu I-290 and I-370 pickups from 2007 and 2008.

At the same time, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a notice on the same day that because of the absence of back seats for these recalled pickup trucks, the child safety seat was forced to be loaded on the front part of the vehicle in question. However, the agency has warned consumers that child safety seats should be installed in the rear seat of the vehicle.

Alan Adler, a spokesman for General Motors, said that so far no reports of accidents or injuries due to the above problems have been received. However, prior to this, the Canadian Traffic Safety Bureau had asked relevant questions about pickups produced by General Motors.
