Dana, Allison and Fallbrook plan to jointly develop transmission systems

According to an external report, Dana Holding Group, Allison Transmission Co., Ltd. and Fallbrook Technology Co., Ltd. will cooperate to develop and put into operation a new high-efficiency drive system .

Allison announced that it will work with Dana and Furbrook to jointly develop a next-generation drive system with high performance, low displacement and improved overall performance of the car.

After the three parties sign the agreement, Allison and Dana will be authorized to use Fallbrook's NuVince CVP (continuously variable planetary gear transmission) technology. Designers will be able to effectively reduce driveline, booster and other power transmissions after obtaining this technology. The complexity of the system allows the engine to be more efficient.
