Wheaton 3rd Alarm Fire 7-4-12
A few photos from the Wheaton 3rd Alarm incident today at 976 Tara Court. The fire originated in the rear of the structure and spread up the wall and into the attic. It was a dead-end street, so the second engine had to travel approximately 1,000 feet to reach the nearest hydrant. All responding units had to walk in from Blanchard with their tools and equipment due to limited access. The temperature on the day of the fire was around 98 degrees Fahrenheit.
