From Daniel Hynd: On July 27, 2024, the Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District and auto/mutual aid companies responded to a house fire in the 8700 block of Carlisle Court. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire coming from the rear deck, which eventually spread to the attic. The fire was contained after several hours of intense firefighting efforts.
