Product Description
     The YPS Series gearbox is specifically designed for use with inverted parallel twin screw extruders. Key components are manufactured using carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding techniques, achieving a precision level of Grade 6 (ISO1328-1:1995). A high-capacity thrust bearing is installed on the front end of the hollow output shaft to handle the back pressure from the screws. The unit is compact, powerful, stable, and operates with low noise and high efficiency.
Key Features
1. The housing is made from spheroidal graphite casting, ensuring rigidity and a smooth finish after multi-dimensional machining.
2. The drive components are manufactured using ordinary steel and ultra-strength alloyed case-hardened steel, along with carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding processes. Critical parts undergo surface peening treatment. Tooth surface hardness: HRC54–62; Core hardness: HRC30–40; Gear precision: Grade 6. This ensures high efficiency, strength, and low noise.
3. Bearings are designed for a service life between 20,000 and 50,000 hours.
4. An external forced lubrication and cooling system enhances performance, offering reliable operation and easy maintenance.
