The pump protector of Binnan No. 2 Mine in Shengli Oilfield was successfully developed.
Binnan Oil Production No. 2 Mine encountered serious challenges such as sand production, water intrusion, and severe eccentric wear in the formation. In response, the mine made significant efforts to develop a protective device for the oil pump. Recently, another breakthrough was achieved by employee Sun Jianyong, who successfully developed the "Pumping Pump Protector." Field tests have shown promising results, proving its effectiveness in improving pump performance.
The pump protector is composed of an inner and outer tube, protective caps, and centralizers. The inner and outer tubes are designed to trap rust and dirt particles that may fall into the pump during operation. The protective cap collects these impurities between the inner and outer tubes, effectively isolating them from the main pumping components. Meanwhile, the centralizer helps align the pump body properly, reducing eccentric wear and ensuring smoother operation. This comprehensive protection system significantly enhances the lifespan and efficiency of the oil pump.
The successful development of this innovation has not only improved work efficiency and quality but also reduced operational costs. It has extended the pump replacement cycle dramatically. According to data, the pump protector can extend the pumping cycle by 2 to 4 times, leading to an annual increase of 120 tons of oil production per well. As a result, the economic benefit per well can exceed 200,000 yuan annually. This technology represents a major step forward in optimizing oil extraction processes and enhancing overall profitability for the mine.
Liquid material is pumped into the top installed centrifugal disc atomizer by mono pump and atomized into fine droplets inside the drying chamber. Meanwhile, clean hot air is blown into the air distributor at the same time. The evenly and swirly distributed hot air completely contacts with droplets for heat transfer. The droplets are dried into powder in several seconds and sucked out into the cyclone for discharging via exhaust fan.
