Autodesk adds cloud-based Product Data Management to Fusion Lifecycle

At the Accelerate 2016 conference in Boston, Autodesk unveiled a major enhancement to its Fusion Lifecycle platform: cloud-based product data management (PDM). This addition marks the first-ever end-to-end cloud PLM solution, covering the entire journey from concept to market. The new PDM capabilities are deeply integrated into Fusion Lifecycle and available immediately, offering engineers a seamless way to manage CAD data, collaborate on designs, and track versions and releases. Whether you're a global enterprise or a small startup, having a unified software platform is essential for streamlining product development. No more juggling between apps or migrating data across platforms. With Fusion Lifecycle, everything needed for innovation—from design to manufacturing—is built into one cohesive system. Fusion 360 remains at the core of this ecosystem, combining CAD, CAM, and CAE in the cloud. Earlier in 2016, Autodesk expanded the Fusion portfolio with Fusion Lifecycle for PLM and Fusion Connect for IoT data management. Now, with the introduction of Cloud PDM, the platform becomes even more powerful. Cloud PDM simplifies design data management, making it as intuitive as saving files to folders—only with automatic revision control and versioning. It enhances collaboration between engineering teams and the rest of the organization by enabling real-time design reviews, 3D file markup, and better integration of BOMs and ECOs. “Fusion Lifecycle has already improved our development process,” said Brian Hunter, Quality Control Manager at NovaCentrix. “But the full PLM solution in the cloud will take us to the next level in efficiency.” Looking ahead, Autodesk is also expanding its Fusion portfolio with exciting new features: - **Fusion Connect** will introduce Dynamic Predictive Analytics, powered by Nutonian’s AI modeling engine. This technology helps manufacturers extract insights from massive IoT data sets, enabling accurate predictions of equipment failures and driving operational improvements. - **Fusion Configure** will soon add enterprise CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) functionality. This tool will help manufacturers handle complex, customizable products by automating the configuration, pricing, and quoting process, speeding up sales and order fulfillment. All these enhancements are part of Autodesk’s commitment to delivering a cloud-first, unified product innovation platform. With no hardware to install and no costly upgrades, manufacturers benefit from lower total cost of ownership and greater mobility. Engineers can access their work from anywhere, ensuring continuous progress. “As we continue to enhance our cloud capabilities, we’re focused on delivering solutions that empower manufacturers to stay competitive,” said Bryan Kester, Director of IoT at Autodesk. “Our goal is to make product development faster, smarter, and more efficient.” Lisa Campbell, Vice President of Manufacturing Industry Strategy and Marketing at Autodesk, added: “Traditionally, product development has been fragmented and inefficient. We’re changing that by creating a unified platform that transforms how products are designed, made, and used.” With these updates, Autodesk is not just keeping up with industry trends — it’s leading the way toward a future where innovation is seamless, smart, and accessible to all.

Membrane/Water Wall Material and Arrangement:
The furnace and roof are made up of membrane water wall and hung on the steel structure by upper hanging suspender of water cooling upper header. Furnace intersecting surface is 3170×5290mm2 and the elevation of top furnace is 28877mm. The membrane water wall is made up of φ60×5 and 6×45 welding steel flat. The combustion chamber is made of φ60×4 steel tube and welded with pin to fasten refractory material. The upper part of combustion chamber connects with furnace membrane water wall. The lower part connects with water cooling wind chamber and water cooling air distributor. The water cooling wind chamber is made up of φ60 steel tube and welded with pins to fasten the refractory material. The water cooling distributor is welded with φ60 steel tube and 6X45 steel flat. The small holes on the steel flat connects with the funnel cap.
The furnace divides left, right, front and back water circulation circuit. The steam leading tube is made up of φ133×5 and φ108×4.5 steel tube. The downcomer is made up of φ108×4.5 steel tube. Install the blowdown valve under the lower header to periodic blow down.
