A hole in one: Nationwide Coils helps make MCASF’s 46th annual golf outing a success.

There's always a silver lining to every challenge—and for 2020, it was the way we learned to value the moments we share with family, friends, and especially our industry peers. That made last month’s MCASF annual golf outing even more meaningful.

This was our fifth year supporting the event, but after months of lockdowns, virtual meetings, and limited social interaction, there was an extra sense of excitement about being back on the course. It wasn’t just about business—it was about reconnecting, networking, and simply enjoying time with people we care about.

The event took place on December 14, 2020, at the Weston Hills Country Club in Weston, Florida. We were joined by 140 commercial HVAC professionals, and once again, Nationwide Coils was proud to be a diamond-level sponsor—the highest level of support offered.

Of course, the event came with its own set of challenges due to the ongoing pandemic. To keep everyone safe, each guest had their temperature checked upon arrival, hand sanitizer was available throughout the venue, and social distancing was strictly observed. The MCASF team did an excellent job of adapting the event to ensure a safe yet enjoyable experience for all.

Lunch was thoughtfully organized to maintain safety and comfort. They staggered the “Joes vs. Pros” match times, reducing the number of people in one area at a time. Guests could choose between dining in the Grill Room, where strict protocols were followed, or picking up a takeout meal if they preferred a more private setting.

As always, gift bags were provided, filled with premium items like a Nationwide Coils golf towel, raffle prizes, snacks, and plenty of golf balls to keep things fun.

Stephen Barzelatto, Vice President of Nationwide Coils, invited several MCASF members to join his PRO team. He shared, “It was a great opportunity to get out, network, and have some fun. We really appreciated being part of the event again and enjoyed the day thoroughly.”

As a leader in custom and OEM replacement coils, our membership with MCASF has been instrumental in helping us grow and connect within the South Florida market. We’re looking forward to future events and can’t wait to see everyone at the 2021 golf outing.
