A hole in one: Nationwide Coils helps make MCASF’s 46th annual golf outing a success.

While 2020 brought a lot of challenges, it also reminded us how much we value the connections we make with friends, family, and colleagues. For us, this made last month's MCASF annual golf outing even more meaningful. It was our fifth year supporting the event, but after months of virtual meetings and lockdowns, being back on the course felt like a real breath of fresh air.

The event took place on December 14, 2020, at the Weston Hills Country Club in Weston, Florida. We were joined by over 140 professionals from the commercial HVAC industry. As always, Nationwide Coils was proud to be a diamond-level sponsor — the highest level of support available.

Of course, hosting an event during the pandemic came with its own set of challenges. To keep everyone safe, temperature checks were conducted upon arrival, hand sanitizer stations were placed throughout the venue, and social distancing was encouraged. The MCASF team did a great job adapting the event to ensure safety without sacrificing fun or camaraderie.

Lunch was handled with care. They staggered times for the “Joes vs. Pros” match to limit group sizes and offered both on-site dining and takeout options. The Grill Room was equipped with plenty of safety measures, and those who preferred to eat elsewhere could still enjoy their meal on the go.

We were happy to see the usual gift bags filled with premium items, including a custom Nationwide Coils golf towel, raffle prizes, snacks, and golf balls. It was a great way to show appreciation for all the attendees.

Stephen Barzelatto, Vice President of Nationwide Coils, invited several MCASF members to join his pro team. He shared, “It was a pleasure getting out there, connecting with people, and enjoying some friendly competition. We truly appreciated the chance to support the event again and had a great time.”

As a leader in custom and OEM replacement coils, our membership with MCASF has been crucial in helping us grow and connect within the South Florida market. We look forward to continuing that relationship and hope to see everyone again at next year’s tournament.
