Introduction of ATS Two-Stage Compounding Line
For producing PVC cable materials, we typically use the ATS two-stage compounding line. This system includes a twin-screw extruder (ATE), a single-screw extruder (ASE), and a downstream pelletizing system. The first stage involves polymer compounding, while the second stage ensures gentle extrusion at lower temperatures, followed by pelletizing via the cutting system.
About the Pelletizing System
Multiple cutting systems can be used in the ATS compounding line. Thanks to the modular design, both Instrument control and PLC control options are available. Key electrical components are sourced from European brands to ensure stable and reliable performance.
To produce PVC cable materials, we commonly use the air-cooled die-face hot cutting system. This system combines the high-speed, strong-compounding capabilities of the twin-screw extruder with the low-speed, low-temperature, and weak-shear characteristics of the single-screw extruder, making it ideal for heat-sensitive or shear-sensitive materials.
