The EU said in its communique that it made this decision after the European plywood industry withdrew its request for a temporary review. In 2004, the European Union decided to take anti-dumping measures against imported Oakmanwood plywood from China and impose an anti-dumping rate of up to 66.7%. In April 2006, the European Federation of Plywood Industry submitted a request for a temporary review to the EU in an attempt to incorporate new types of plywood into anti-dumping measures. After terminating the review, the original anti-dumping measures still apply.
