The most common and traditional tire pressure monitoring system today is to monitor the deviation between the actual tire pressure and the optimal pressure through a remote information management system. At the Hannover Motor Show, BPW presented an axle with an energy recovery system called ePower. The working principle of this system is very simple. The axle hub has a generator. When the vehicle goes downhill, it can realize braking power generation.


The system is suitable for trailers such as refrigerated trucks that consume a relatively large amount of electricity. Generally, two hub-generators are mounted on an axle, and sufficient power can be generated during the braking process for the cooling of the refrigerator, ultimately reducing fuel consumption. Realize energy saving and environmental protection.

At present, vehicles that use maintenance-free axles can already be seen on the road. Although the proportion is not large, the market demand is increasing every year.
