Through crude benzene hydrorefining, Baoyuan Co., Ltd. deep-processes crude benzene from coal coking by-products to produce 51,000 tons of pure benzene, 13,800 tons of toluene, and 5,200 tons of xylene mixed, compared with the process of purifying benzene by acid washing. The yield of benzene is increased by 8% to 10%, and it can overcome the disadvantages of the pickling method that produces a large amount of acid tar and has serious pollution. At the same time, the cost of coking benzene from crude benzene hydrogenation is 1,500 yuan less than that of petroleum benzene.
