In response to growing government initiatives aimed at accelerating digital transformation and intelligent application across industries, Autodesk has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Taiwan Architecture and Building Center (TABC). This partnership aims to strengthen the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector in Taiwan by enhancing its capabilities in smart buildings and intelligent manufacturing. Through this collaboration, both companies will work together to promote the adoption of Fusion 360 and BIM technologies, offering training programs and supporting innovation and talent development in these fields. Fusion 360, already widely adopted by manufacturers, startups, and makers in Taiwan, is now set to make a similar impact in the architecture industry. "Autodesk Fusion 360 will revolutionize the way architects in Taiwan work," said Chin-Fu Yang, Chairman of TABC. "This software allows us to integrate with existing workflows and drive the future of smart buildings, communities, and cities." Jui-Lin Chen, Director of the Architecture and Building Research Institute, emphasized the importance of BIM in the evolution of smart architecture. "BIM plays a critical role in modern architectural design. The Ministry of the Interior is actively promoting BIM usage within local projects and plans to incorporate it into public works, aligning with global trends in smart construction," he added. This MOU marks a significant step in Autodesk’s long-term strategy to support the design and construction industries in Taiwan. It builds upon previous initiatives such as the “Design Dream Voyage” program, which empowers K-12 students to explore design tools and unleash their creative potential. “Autodesk remains committed to advancing 3D design capabilities in Taiwan,” said Richard Li, Autodesk Managing Director for Greater China. “We are proud to partner with TABC to bring our expertise to the architecture industry and help achieve new levels of innovation and excellence.”
