Pressure vessel steel plate covers a range of steel grades that are designed for use in pressure vessel, boilers, heat exchanges and any other vessel that contains a gas or liquid at high pressures.
Familiar examples include gas cylinders for cooking and for welding, oxygen cylinders for diving and many of the large metallic tanks that you see in an oil refinery or chemical plant.
There is a huge range of different chemicals and liquid that that stored and processed under pressure. These range from relatively benign substances such as milk and palm oil to crude oil and natural gas and their distillates to highly lethal acids and chemicals such as methyl isocyanate. So of these processes need the gas or liquid to be very hot, whilst others contain it at very low temperatures. As a result there is a wide variety of different pressure vessel steel grades that meet the different use cases.
In general these can be divided into three groups. There is a group of carbon steel pressure vessel grades. These are standard steels and can cope with many applications where there is low corrosion and low heat. As heat and corrosion have more effect on the steel plates chromium, molybdenum and nickel are added to provide additional resistance.
The manufacture of pressure vessels is tightly regulated as a result of the risks involved and as a consequence the materials that can be used in vessels is also tightly specified. The most common specifications for pressure vessel steels are the EN10028 standards – which are European in origin – and the the ASME/ASTM standards which are from the US.

**GW42D Automatic Bar Bending Machine**
**I. Features and Advantages:**
The GW42D automatic bar bender is a high-performance machine designed for construction sites, developed by our company. It offers several key advantages:

**III. Pre-Operation Preparation:**
Before using the machine, ensure:
- Check that the outer packaging is undamaged and no parts are damaged.
- Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws are securely fastened.
- Place the machine on a flat, sturdy surface and leave enough space for materials and movement.
- Verify that the power supply voltage is within standard range (+10%) and has proper grounding.
- After installation, connect the power and perform initial testing.
**IV. Lubrication:**
Open the oil cap on the top of the table and fill CKC68 gear oil to two-thirds of the oil window (or about 10 kg).
**V. Debugging:**
After connecting the power, follow these steps:
- Turn on the OPEN CIRCUIT and MOTOR FORWARD/REVERSE buttons.
- Press START to test the motor direction. If it doesn’t move forward, switch the button to reverse.
- Switch to AUTO mode, insert the angle positioning pin into the working disc, and step on the foot pedal to start the machine.
- Use the ANGLE TRANSFORMATION SWITCH to alternate between different bending angles.
- In manual mode, press the START/FORWARD or MANUAL REVERSE button for continuous operation.
**VI. Operation and Safety:**
- Choose the appropriate center pile head and sleeve based on the steel size.
- Ensure the striker plate and square bar are properly positioned.
- At least two people should be present for long bar operations.
- No one should be in the working radius area or near the non-pile head side.
- For automatic machines, always insert the angle positioning pin to prevent accidents.
**VII. Maintenance:**
- Change the lubricating oil after 3 months of use and annually thereafter.
- Clean the working disc regularly and avoid applying grease while the machine is running.
- Store the machine in a dry place and apply anti-corrosive grease to the working disc if storing for long periods.
