**Introduction:**
AWS EM12 is a medium-manganese and medium-silicon type welding wire that is compatible with similar flux types. It is not sensitive to rust on the base metal and offers excellent bead formation and slag removal. The wire can be used with single or dual feeding methods using AC or DC power.
**Uses:**
When used with sintered flux SJ101, AWS EM12 is suitable for high-speed welding of steel plates with tensile strength up to 420N/mm² and for filling operations.
**Application:**
This welding wire is designed to work with flux for automatic welding of carbon steel and low-alloy steel.
